Doucette's De Bordeaux
The Originals
As we mentioned in the about us section, when we first got our Bordeaux, we did not do all of our homework. We knew we wanted a Turner and Hooch dog but had no thought of breed standards. No matter, we love these ladies more than words can say, and they were the beginnings of a wonderful journey. We owe our passion for this noble, stoic breed to our immense love for these two.
Doucette's Rosebud of MO
She was born July 24th, 2018
She came to us from Missouri with her sister Hooch. We drove 22 plus hours each way to pick them up. She has and continues to bring joy, love, and laughter to our home and family. Rosie is lovable, playful, and an amazing guardian. We need not fear when Rosie is near.
We were blessed with 3 wonderful litters from this queen, and equally blessed to find loving forever homes for them.
Rosie retired in 2022 after successfully raising her final litter of adorable pups.
Turner and Hooch Moment
This is one of our favorite Turner and Hooch moments. We had left Rosie and her sister Hooch home alone for a short time. When we drove into the driveway, this is what we saw. Thank goodness she did not decide to jump out. All we could do is laugh and take the picture before getting out of the car. This is another great example of why we encourage crate training for puppies.

She was also born July 24th, 2018.
She came to us from Missouri with her sister Rosie. We drove 22 plus hours each way to pick them up. She has and continues to bring joy, love, and laughter to our home and family. She is a huge love bug and would cuddle 24/7 if possible.
We have been blessed with 2 wonderful litters from her, and are equally blessed to have found loving forever homes for them. She is due to have her final litter June of 2024. After which she will retire.
